You're a great fit if you have:

• Experience working with SAGE 100
• Minimum of three years in construction accounting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

In this role, you will:

• Oversee construction-related accounting activities, including job costing, WIP (work-in-progress) reporting, and contract billing
• Track and analyze material, labor, and overhead costs for steel fabrication and project work.
• Monitor estimated vs. actual costs, job budgets, and WIP activity.
• Set up jobs, allocate costs accurately, and complete job reconciliations and closeouts.
• Process project invoices, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers.
• Prepare basic financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, project budgets, fixed asset updates, and audit schedules.
• Reconcile inventory, ensure materials are issued correctly, and maintain accurate inventory reporting.
• Work with project managers to review project performance and simple budget-to-actual results.
• Process construction-specific invoices, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers
• Reconcile accounts, including General Ledger and WIP reports, and analyze project budgets and expenses
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Generate and review financial reports, including budget-to-actual comparisons
